It is the responsibility of the Upper Grand District School Board to develop, review and direct the implementation by staff of policies that reflect the philosophy, values and strategic directions for the governance and operation of the school system.

 

Through policy, the Board exercises its legislative authority, promotes the organization’s commitment to public accountability, provides flexibility to deal with diverse situations and ensures consistency across all schools and departments.
