REMINDER
In-Person Member Town Hall ~ September 20, 2023
OSSTF/FEESO is hosting a town hall with members of District 18 on September 20, 2023, at 5:00 pm at the Gord Brown Hall, Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, 550 Belsyde Avenue E, Fergus, ON, N1M 2W5.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide members with details regarding the proposed pathways agreed to between OSSTF/FEESO and the provincial government to resolve bargaining. This proposal is for members who are covered by the School Boards Collective Bargaining Act (SBCBA) only. Members will have the opportunity through the month of September to cast a vote online on whether they approve of moving forward with this proposal or not. Information about the voting process will be conveyed at the meeting. Representatives from the Provincial Executive and Provincial Office Staff will be on hand to explain the elements of the proposal and answer questions.
Members are strongly encouraged to PRE-REGISTER for the town hall but are not required to do so to participate. To pre-register visit the OSSTF Website and click on the Member Vote on Bargaining Pathway button on the main page, I have also added registration buttons to this page. This will take you to the Member Login Page. Information on how to navigate this page is below. Pre-registration will assist us in following up with you before or after the meeting with additional information, and to notify you of any changes to the meeting. Members can access this Update article explaining how to login to myOSSTF, the Members-only section of the OSSTF website, and ensure their contact details are up to date.
