Early Childhood Educator Resource Page

Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) are an integral part of the full education team, and OSSTF/FEESO proudly represents ECEs in all four publicly funded school systems in Ontario. While the Ministry of Education continues to express its support for a team approach to kindergarten, we have yet to see the details of the ‘overhaul’ of the Kindergarten Program, which is expected in September 2025.

OSSTF/FEESO has developed the attached resource document (Attach 1) to highlight the role of ECEs in Ontario schools. 

Once details regarding the proposed changes to kindergarten are known, the resource document will be updated and redistributed to members.
