School Reps

Welcome back to a new school year! Now that we are back for another school year we need you to select and forward the name of your school representatives. It's not a huge commitment to be a school rep and we don't expect you to deal with difficult issues in your school but each work site must have an ESSP/ECE rep. If you want to return as the school rep, that's great and we're happy to have you. If not please talk to the EAs or ECEs at your worksite and vote or appoint someone for this role. Please make sure everyone is aware of who is interested and that everyone is supportive. If more than one person is interested, you can have an anonymous vote to determine which individual will be the rep. The idea is to reach a consensus. Once a rep has been determined we need to know by September 20th by 4:00 pm. All reps are required to attend one training session every two years, whether or not they've been trained before. Training will occur this year, once we have the name of the rep at your worksite information on this training will be sent out. Attached is a brief synopsis of the responsibilities of the school rep. https://mcusercontent.com/fd92d8e08ce1d6b287b53b308/files/01d80916-0074-f1ba-fe8b-3296c957e361/School_Reps_Job_Description_2022_23.01.pdf Please use the link below to send the Rep name and personal email to Cheryl Lampkin cheryl.lampkin@d18.osstf.ca
