OSSTF Health and Safety Checklist for COVID-19 Issues for Members
The following COVID - 19 health and safety checklist is aimed at Your health and safety in the workplace. This OSSTF created checklist is a province-wide initiative to assess COVID - 19 health and safety control measures in all school boards.
All information gathered is confidential. The results will help Your D18 ESSP/ECE Executive to determine how to best advocate and support your health and safety concerns during this unprecedented global pandemic. The results will provide important health and safety information to ensure that the required infection controls, policies, and procedures are in place to promote a safe workplace.
But we need your help! We need to know the COVID - 19 health and safety issues that exist in your school. As strong and proactive OSSTF members we want to support one another for the greater good. A safe workplace is demanded not only for You and Your Family but also for your students. We all deserve to go home safe!
The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) ensures all workers have three (3) Rights: The Right to Know, The Right to Participate, and The Right to Refuse Unsafe Work.
It is Your Right to have a safe workplace!
