Equity Advisory Workgroup—Call for members 2020The Equity Advisory Workgroup is a permanent body advising both the Provincial Executive and the Equity Officer on reducing barriers to member participation and fostering equity and inclusion within OSSTF/FEESO. Applications are now being accepted until September 16 to be chosen as one of seven Members-at-Large to serve on this work group. Read more.
Federation Family Education Fund—2020–2021 recipients. Each year, ten awards valued at $1,500 are presented to children of OSSTF/FEESO members who will be pursuing their first post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate at a college, university, or apprenticeship program of their choice. OSSTF/FEESO congratulates this year’s recipients. Read more.
OSSTF/FEESO supports life-long learning. Every year OSSTF/FEESO offers fellowships and grants to members to assist with their educational endeavours. OSSTF/FEESO congratulates all of the applicants and wishes them success in their studies. The deadline for applications is April 1, 2021 for the 2021–2022 year. Read more.
CYBERSAFETY: Important information for OSSTF/FEESO members. OSSTF/FEESO recently updated the Cybersafety brochure found in the member protected portion of the OSSTF/FEESO website. The information contained in the brochure is particularly relevant at a time when many students have opted for online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, and more members are using technology to communicate with parents, families, students, and staff.
