Letter to Dr. Mercer

Good Morning, I want you to know that it is not right that our membership has been divided. It is not fair that many members will be able to work remotely and some will again have to put themselves at risk and go into buildings as of Thursday. It is also not right that most members who are eligible for the vaccine through the prioritizing of education workers have just been vaccinated or are still awaiting vaccination and the protection awarded by this is still days or weeks away. I don’t agree with these decisions, and I will continue to have difficult conversations to try to make a positive change for the safety of all of our members. I am proud to represent each and every member and will continue to speak up for all of us!

This morning I sent the attached letter to Dr. Nicola Mercer.
