EA/SPA Job Class Town Hall Meeting- Tuesday - April 12 2022,7:00 pm and 8:15 pm.

As the upcoming provincial election will be held on or before June 2, 2022, and Collective Agreements will expire in August 2022, the Provincial Executive and Secretariat staff will be setting up virtual town halls by job class this year to engage directly with members. While we always look for feedback from members through bargaining surveys, focus groups, and membership meetings, the purpose of the virtual town halls is to engage in direct conversations with members. We hope to hear suggestions, challenges, and concerns firsthand to help us prepare for the upcoming provincial election and the next round of bargaining. Collective bargaining occurs within the political framework of the province. Therefore, the upcoming provincial election results will undoubtedly have significant implications for the next round of negotiations. Just as members need to be engaged in the collective bargaining process, it is also vital that we are all involved in political action. Your Federation will communicate with members on both fronts as we move forward. Townhall meetings will be 75 minutes and held virtually over Zoom.

EA/SPA MEETING WILL BE HELD - Tuesday, April 12, 2022, 7:00 pm and 8:15 pm.

These Town Halls will focus on gathering information directly from members on the upcoming election and round of bargaining. The meeting for our bargaining unit and other bargaining units with the same job class(es) from other Districts will take place from 7-8:15 pm on April 12, 2022, via a zoom meeting. Details have been sent to your personal email that the union has. If you did not receive the email, please contact the D18 office. It is advised that members ensure that their Zoom application or client is updated prior to joining the meeting.
